Road closures will be in place from 14 September 2026 until 15 March 2027 along the access route to the Longfield Solar Farm site, to allow for the required Highway Improvements.
To carry out these works safely, there will be planned full road closures which will result in diversions. When and where safe to do so, we will look to reopen the road outside of normal working hours with access under two-way traffic lights.
Access will be maintained for residential residents and emergency service vehicles at all times. There will be no access for pedestrians or cyclists during these works. Alternative routes are available, with temporary road signage in place during each closure.

All activities on-site are being carried out in line with the requirements of the development consent for Longfield. This includes agreeing the details of the activities with your local councils and emergency services prior to starting on-site.
